Connie is a Diabetes Nurse Practitioner, Credentialled Diabetes Educator and clinical lead for the diabetes education team at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital (RPA) Diabetes Centre, with over 20 years of experience. 


Her clinical interests include the management of type 1 and type 2 diabetes, with a particular focus on diabetes technology including continuous glucose monitoring (CGM), automated insulin delivery (AID) systems, and digital diabetes care.

 

She is passionate about helping people reduce the burden of diabetes, improve their quality of life, and achieve better clinical outcomes. As a certified insulin pump trainer, she has successfully initiated hundreds of people with type 1 and type 2 diabetes on insulin therapy, CGM, insulin pump therapy, and advanced hybrid closed loop systems.


Connie completed a Master of Nursing (Nurse Practitioner) at the University of Sydney in 2019 and has presented her work at numerous national scientific meetings.
